D. SANSON / CLASSICA
Didier Squiban's piano compositions are harmoniously old-fashioned, melodically pleasing, rythmically stimulating. Recorded in a chapel, the sound quality is outstandingly clear and bright in all tonal ranges. Mr. Squiban is an accomplished technician who plays his own compositions with the insight and feeling to produce a thoroughly satisfying artistic entertainment. In this day of raucous pop-music, a sound which seems a bit out of date puts to shame the current simple minded caterwauling passing itself off as music. Didier Squiban deserves to be popular.

...that was the first one I got, without knowing much, but with a cover like this...
and from Brittany...
yes it was a lucky buy, another little world unfolding... :)
Lucky buy for us :)
:)
Gorgeous stuff, beautiful and soothing. Many thanks for this, completely new to me.
Great blog you have, love the diversity here!
Added you to my blogroll (i see my place is already part of your blogroll - thanks for that.)
This is beautiful and thank you. I'm getting into solo piano, and the Breton connection attracted me too, as I love the folk-rock of Alan Stivell and Dan ar Braz.
you can hardly get it any better then this...
thank you for telling :)
more Breizh music will come...
some time soon.
:)
