 Gholamshah Ghanbari for sure is one of the best Bakhtiari epic singers today.

 غلامشاه در منطقه لالی واقع در 55 کیلومتری شمال مسجد سلیمان به دنیا آمده است. او هم اینک در اهواز زندگی می کند. آغاز فعالیت هنری اش به سال 1335 باز می گردد. در سال 1348 به دعوت انجوی شیرازی به تهران آمد و مجموعه ای بی نظیر از آوازهای حماسی بختیاری را به ضبط رساند که در آرشیو فرهنگ مردم رادیو موجود است. در سال 1351 به دلیل خواندن یک آهنگ حماسی به نام «سردار» دستگیر شد و چند ماهی به زندان افتاد. پس از انقلاب، ضبط نغمه ها و انتشار آنها را به طور خصوصی انجام داد و در سال 1370 تنها اثر رسمی وی به نام «دشت لاله» به بازار آمد.
غلامشاه قنبری در حال حاضر یکی از بهترین حماسه خوانان ایل بختیاری است. وی متعلق به مش مرداسی ها از طایفه بهداروند می باشد و علاقۀ زیادی به فرهنگ و هنر بختیاری دارد. یکی دیگر از ویژگی های منحصر بفرد او صدای چپ کوک و پرقدرت او ست.
